Fall Clean-up Checklist!

Happy Saturday peeps!

We are officially THREE days away from the official start of Fall, which means this is the time to do all of your outside work before it gets too cold!πŸ‚πŸ

Here are 5 tips for things to think about when the Fall season approaches!

1. Remember to clean your gutters
-Before the cold and wet weather hits, you have to make sure that you have all of the leaves and debris out of your gutters. This way, your roof will be able to properly drain as needed

2. Trim & prune any trees and hedges you may have
-Once the snow hits us, the weight of it will make branches weak if they are overgrown or dead

3. Complete some lawn maintenance
-Get rid of any weeds and unwanted lawn things you may have
-Cut your grass & clean up the grass clippings that were left behind
-Use a leaf blower as well to have a nice, clean lawn

4. Sweep your garden bed
-As the growing season comes to an end, sweep out your garden beds in preparation for spring. This way, you will avoid unwanted weeds, plants, and even bugs ruining your garden over the winter season

5. Take care of your pool

-To close your pool down for the season, make sure you’ve checked all of these off your list:

-Use a vacuum to thoroughly clean top to bottom
-Use a net for any debris on the top of water
-Make sure water is balanced & chemistry of water is balanced
-Lower the water level 4-6 inches below the skimmer & close the valves
-Fill the skimmer line with antifreeze & put a skimmer guard in the skimmer to prevent damage throughout the winter
-Make sure you are using a winter cover for your pool
